Outside Sales Professional - Madison, WI

Job Function –                                                                                          
The candidate would be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and manage sales of our products and services.

Basic Skills –

  • Proficient in phone skills for customer communication and appointment setting
  • Strong skill set in presentation skills to all levels of customer decision makers
  • Ability to generate new business through relationship building, onsite visits
  • Present company and products in a professional manner
  • Manage personal schedule to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting customer demands while growing own territory year over year
  • Versed with quota/goal creation and working towards beating it
  • Understand pricing structures as well as various industry trends
  • Maintain customer files in an organized fashion
  • Ability to give customer tours and work hours that require meeting customer demands

Qualifications –

  • Bachelors of engineering or business administration preferred
  • 2+ years in outside business-to-business sales, preferably the industrial sales field
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously throughout the day

Motor Repair Technician - Dubuque, Janesville, and Madison

Job Function –                                                                                          
Our Motor Repair Technicians help provide World Class Service to our customers throughout the United States by helping repair various mechanical and electrical equipment. The candidate would work in a state of the art motor repair facility.

Basic Skills –

  • Read job cards to determine: job status, work authorizations/limitations,
    estimate, description of problems, and/or expected serviceability.
  • Test electromechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected
    problems using various methods (AC or DC).
  • Disassemble electromechanical equipment noting parts identification,
    configuration and condition.
  • Clean electromechanical equipment assemblies as needed using various
    methods and steps, including but not limited to: parts washers, steamers, caustic tanks, glass headers, etc.
  • Measure for or note proper replacement parts. Correctly requisition needed
    items from service center office, as approved by supervisor.
  • Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical or electromechanical assemblies, including but not limited to: bearings, brushes, brush holders, motor leads, gears, seals, impellers, mechanical switches, brakes, clutches, clutch
    rotors, tachs, fans, end shields, etc.
  • Retest reassembled electromechanical equipment for proper output and
    operation.
  • Follow all EMS Industrial, Inc. safety policies and procedures

Field Service Compressor Technician - Dubuque and Janesville

Job Function –                                                                                          
The candidate would be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on oil-injected and oil free industrial air compressors.

Basic Skills –

  • Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on oil-injected and oil-free air compressors.
  • Preventative maintenance should be conducted in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations (with regards to schedule and scope).
  • Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning compressors, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment.
  • Test and document the proper operating parameters of the compressor.
  • Required to promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Ability to operate and forklift and other industry related equipment necessary for the job
  • Follow all EMS Industrial, Inc. safety policies and procedures
  • Overtime is available
